Residents enjoyed the proximity to many animals living their best lives during a Vineyards visit to Kangaroo Creek Farm.
Residents at The Vineyards Residence got up close and personal with kangaroos, wallabies, and other friendly animals, during a recent outing to Kangaroo Creek Farm.
This family run business welcomes visitors to enjoy their hobby farm pets, including their 54 kangaroos. The original kangaroos were rescues from New Zealand and all kangaroos and wallabies are kept strictly as pets. 100% of the parrots on the farm are rescues, as are several sugar gliders (small gliding possums), now enjoying their forever home.
From pot-bellied pigs to peacocks, goats to emus, wallabies to capybaras (the largest rodent in the world), the Kangaroo Creek Farm offers visitors the opportunity to learn about, touch, feed, and enjoy the animals at this unique Kelowna farm.
Residents enjoyed the sunshine, learning about the marsupials, birds, mammals and rodents, petting and feeding the animals, and adding another adventure to their stories to share.
