Right in the heart of the city, Richmond Hill Retirement Residence is a place where local seniors find new levels of happiness. People who move here find an ideal place of both renewal and reinvigoration. Outside, there's shopping, greenspace, nearby entertainment and health care (pharmacies, doctors, physiotherapy and more) – everything you need. And inside, this community focuses on promoting the improved health of community members: not just physical, but mental and spiritual health.

There's so much to do here, and a communal focus on well-being. Unique activities include vendors who come right into the community and a hair salon where you can get pampering as regularly as you like (some ladies take advantage of this service weekly!) Fitness onsite (if that's your thing!) includes daily stretching, and for more fun there are dance classes and a yoga group. Seniors who need assistance can find it here, with the availability of personal support for bathing and other activities of daily living. Care extends to palliation, here, which family members find comforting.

My stay at RHRR for respite care related to my knee surgery, was the best decision I ever made and the most amazing care I have received. The staff were attentive, the food choices very good, the room and amenities were fantastic. Samara, Angelica and Gidget and all the other folks at RHRR are the best.

Ever since our uncle was admitted to the Richmond Hill Retirement Residence, each staff member who came in contact with him had a positive impact on his emotional, physical, and most importantly his mental health. It felt like he received a second lease on life! The care, attention, and compassion the entire staff demonstrated are absolutely a reflection of the outstanding people they are! He came with a loss of appetite that he not only regained, but he also continuously commented on how great the food was, especially the various soups he had the pleasure to try. We highly recommend the Richmond Hill Retirement Residence for living independent seniors, or for a short term living assisted facility.

My mom and dad lived here for almost 2 years. The rooms are more spacious than any other retirement home in the area, which was a big draw for them moving out of their family home. The ability to get help as needed was important and the PSWs and nursing staff were always wonderful to them. Pre-covid, they also really enjoyed meal time in the pub and felt well taken care of by the wait staff who knew all their favourite drinks and meals. We are so grateful to have found Richmond Hill Retirement Residence. My Mom has been living at RHRR for two and a half years and we couldn't be happier. Every staff member is kind and caring and makes my Mom feel like she is living with family. They know every resident's name and in our case our extended family too! I have received numerous texts from the life enrichment team, sharing photos and special activities of which my Mom has participated. They really do make the residents their number one priority!

During this very difficult time with Covid-19, the staff have done their very best to keep the residents happy and safe. They have kept us well-informed and up to date with all happenings regarding new protocols and public health information.

Thank you to all the staff at RHRR for giving my Mom a very special place to live that allows our family to rest easy knowing that she is well cared for and safe. There truly is no better place for our Mom!! [posted to Google Reviews Jan 2021]

My mother has been at this residence for about 4 years and I want to recognize the exceptional work by all the staff members at the residence especially during the covid 19 pandemic, to keep everyone safe. [These have] been very trying times for everyone but especially for Retirement Residences where we have some of the most [vulnerable]. Management and staff have in my opinion worked tirelessly to ensure the safety of residence and staff. We are grateful for everyone's efforts and highly recommend this facility.
