My mom was at Arbourside for just over 3 years and she loved it! Truly an exceptional place - the staff and services provided are amazing. They make you feel like family; service is above and beyond. They truly care, looking out for the residents and always make you feel welcome and loved.

My lovely Aunt lived at Arbourside for 8 years. She made great friends, participated in the many activities and was well taken care of. The staff were all very caring and excellent. They were so kind to me when she passed and I have visited on several occasions since and always enjoy being there. Many fond memories.

My Mom was in need of independence and a place to call her own, while still being allowed to care for her cats and be in close proximity to stores, services, and her family. We found Arbourside and was instantly drawn to the warmth of the Management (Tania and Ross) and the residents. The activities and support services are wonderful and the one-on-one care that the staff have towards the residents is really appreciated. In these difficult times with every changing rules and guidelines, Arbourside has done a great job in communicating the latest protocols and keeping the residents safe. We are happy with our decision to have my mother here and would recommend this retirement community for you or your loved ones.

There're so many things that they do so well. The primary thing for me with Arbourside is the staff [who are] absolutely phenomenal. They all seem to go above and beyond what one might expect to be happening. They have great patience with my mum [who is] 101. They're fabulous! They care for everybody. It feels more like they're a big family than they're staff. So I appreciate that immensely. It's fantastic.
There's always something to do and it's really a great community and great camaraderie. The social aspect of it is fantastic. My mom has the sense of security [and] she's not alone... and there's always somebody there. That [sense] is the same for me as well, that if when I'm working or I'm away, I don't have to worry about her because I know her meals are being taken care of, her cleaning is being taken care of. Most importantly for me is that she has that social interaction that there's always somebody there.

Arbourside cares! My nana has been living there since her late 90's and going strong! The staff and seniors are all warm and caring! The location and services are fantastic! Truly like being on a cruise ship! Great way to retire!

I would like to write a heartfelt thank you to everyone at Arbourside Court. It was a difficult transition for my mother and father to leave their home of thirty-four years and move back to Canada from the Seattle area. Mum had always wanted to come'home' and yet it wasn't easy to move a large home full of memories. The staff at Arbourside welcomed my parents (and me) with kindness and compassion. They really care and it shows. It has been almost two years now and we are all feeling that the best choice was made for their new home to be Arbourside Court. The location is great. There are many shops and conveniences within walking distance. They also have all the amenities that Arbourside provides at their disposal. I am very pleased that the food that is offered three times per day is of high quality and offers variety as well as great nutritional value. I think it is wonderful to have a social gathering at breakfast, lunch and dinner and know that mum and dad have made some great new friends over some appetizing meals. Overall, I find that the staff all work well together and work hard to provide a wholesome, safe and happy home for the residents. Thank you all! ~ Pam B

Arbourside Court was home to my Mom for almost 10 years, and during those years Mom was very happy and loved her apartment and living there. I will always treasure the fond memories of my visits with her and many of the other residents, and the joy living at Arbourside brought her. I will be forever grateful for the kindness and care Mom received from the wonderful Staff (cooks/kitchen/housekeeping/admin) who made her daily life a little brighter with their smiles and attention to detail. Without her time at Arbourside, Mom would not have had the quality of life and the extended years she so enjoyed and I, cherished time with her. Thank you.

Although [my stepfather, Walter] was hesitant about leaving his home of many years, he settled into Arbourside quickly, found his new home comfortable and was happy he had moved ... [He] could always find someone to talk to, or he could join in on some of the many activities that were offered ... Walter enjoyed the tasty varieties of meals offered, but also was happy to have his own kitchen. It allowed him to be a bit more independent ... I cannot express my gratitude enough. Arbourside not only improved [his life] ... but it made my life easier knowing he was being well cared for.
