What does that mean to you? They believe in partnering with residents and families like you. They want to work with you and other families and seniors like you to create and maintain an environment where everyone participates in designing the care they desire and deserve. Every voice is heard, honoured and respected.
The team at Park Place Seniors Living is committed to building relationships with everyone in their “family” which includes you and your family, to recognize opportunities to improve your quality of life. A brief look at care offered in Park Place Seniors’ Living
Independent living at Park Place means that you maintain your independence, make your own decisions and enjoy the lifestyle and activities you have always enjoyed – with a few extra perks! Park Place proudly features several fully independent retirement residences in BC, Alberta and Ontario, for seniors seeking to maintain their independence while having access to services and amenities to enhance their current lifestyles. In independent living in a retirement home, you actually increase your freedom, since you no longer have mundane daily housework, house maintenance, etc. Leave all that to someone else and enjoy full days of freedom.
In assisted living (BC) or supportive living (Alberta), the team supports you as your needs change. Supportive and Assisted Living residences balance your desire for independence with your changing need for daily personal care. Residents of Park Place’s Supportive Living communities are often active seniors who can live independently and make decisions on their own behalf, but require a supportive environment and assistance with daily tasks due to physical or functional health challenges.
Long-Term Care is at the heart of Park Place. Seniors who can no longer live safely or independently at home due to complex health care requirements and/or suffer from cognitive decline and memory loss are welcomed at all Park Place’s Long-Term Care residences with access to full-time daily living and nursing care. They also provide specialized support for residents with Dementia and Alzheimer’s Disease, with secure entry/exit points and round the clock monitoring. They’re committed to enriching the lives of residents at the Long-Term Care level; residents are provided with access to activities, entertainment, and opportunities to continue enjoying life despite age-related health issues.
