There are many great things to say about St. Elizabeth Village, but one unique aspect of this community is residents' ability to leverage the market value of the home they purchase, through the community's life lease program. Given that real estate values rise consistently in Hamilton (especially on the mountain) this gives you the best of both worlds: the security and freedom of 55 plus living, along with the equity you'll build up from investing in your home here.
This tight-knit, friendly community is ideal for seniors who want a home in Hamilton. Situated close to the highway and to downtown, there's just enough shopping and liveliness in the area. Residents live happily and healthily. Over the years, we've met or heard of a number of residents who have been here for several years. That tells us that they thrive—and they enjoy their lives here. LEV Senior Living has a reputation across the province for providing great care.
Loved my visit to my son and daughter in law. Was impressed with the cleanliness of the grounds.
I have lived here since 1996. Love its great community spirit. Extremely pretty surroundings. So much to do, you could be busy all day depending on your abilities. A city bus comes into the property. Access in village to Cafe, IDA drugstore. Hairdressers. Physio practice. Two Doctors practices on site. With a swimming pool etc!
Love this place !!!!!
Best decision to move here, love it, affordable, beautiful surroundings, all activities are free, too many to choose, all residents very friendly, and caring, check it out, if you are downsizing, and still want to own your home.
Toured last week. Loved it.
If you have a loved one or you yourself are looking for a place for assisted retirement living. Look no further, you will not find a more caring and helpful staff than here. We had my father in law here and he was very nervous about going to live in assisted living. He loved it here, the residents are happy and friendly. The staff and management do an amazing job. There are not enough words to say how appreciative we are of Aberdeen Gardens.
In my opinion, the care and support the staff at Aberdeen Gardens provided for my mom over the past 3 1/2 + years, went above and beyond retirement home expectations.Dealing with individuals with dementia is difficult at the best of times and far more difficult having the Covid pandemic thrown into the mix. I recognize the challenge it was for my mom to receive each of her Covid inoculations. Thank you for persevering to ensure she received both vaccines. I could not have asked for a better home for my mom to have been in, during the pandemic and especially with her declining mental health. It was evident that the staff put the health and welfare of my mom and the other residents as a top priority. A big heartfelt thanks!
Aberdeen Gardens Cares. My Uncle Has Been There Since October Of 2016 And Has Enjoyed Everybody. He Is The Best I Have Seen Him Years. Thankyou Aberdeen Gardens And The Wonderful Staff That Have Been Looking After Him.
My father-in-law has been a resident at Aberdeen Gardens since October 2019. Our family could not be more pleased with the excellent service provided by their extraordinary staff. They care about each and every resident to ensure they are well looked after and happy. This has never been more important than during the COVID 19 crisis. I was impressed with the numerous protocols put in place well ahead of government directives. We receive regular communications from the Executive Director about any issues or new guidelines. With all of the recent unfortunate news about certain retirement homes, we have peace of mind knowing he is safe and treated like a member of their family. Each and every request is looked after in an appropriate and timely manner, and they do not hesitate to make recommendations to improve his level of care. We will always remember the head chef telling us to watch what happens after 3 weeks, and indeed he looked and felt much better as his diet and medicines were carefully managed. This may not be the most expensive retirement home in the Hamilton region, but is the best managed, with the very best staff. We are grateful to every member of the Aberdeen Garden’s team for looking after my father-in-law so well. Though moving loved ones from their home is always a difficult decision, we are now enjoying more quality time together with him as his daily needs are taken care of. We wish that he had moved their sooner.
My mum is currently staying at Aberdeen Gardens and they have been wonderful. She has been well looked after and has made friends. The home is organized, clean, the meals are great and the staff is caring. I am so grateful for their care of my mum during this pandemic. They have been proactive and have had the residents health at the forefront of their care. Thanks again!
