My mom has been a resident of the Hearthstone for a little over two years. When we first enquired about transitioning her from her home, the team at Hearthstone did everything possible to make her comfortable and the transition was seamless. Fast forward two years, my mom recently fell and broke her hip, the team at Hearthstone is doing everything they can to accommodate her needs through wellness support, meal deliveries and even relocating her so her room will be closer to the dining room. The staff has gone over and above to once again make her transition as smooth as possible. The staff truly cares about the well-being of all the residents. It gives me peace of mind knowing my mom is in good hands.

My husband and I reached out to the Dr. Hemstock facility on behalf of our neighbour who was recovering from major surgery. We were looking and hoping to find a respite room.The staff, ALL of them, opened their arms and basically a Christmas miracle

Our journey with Hemstock only started in August 2022, it truly wasn’t on our radar that we needed assisted living for my Mother in law until a long hospital stay. We were all hesitant making the move from her home she had lived in for 65 years on the farm to Lloydminster. A quick call with the staff and the opportunity to tour the suites before making the decision was exceptional. They knew I was having as much emotion wrapping my head around this move as our Mom was (to the point they gave me a hug of reassurance). We moved Mom in August 22nd and the suite, care, compassion, meals and residents that share the common areas have been nothing short of amazing. This has been an incredibly easy shift and I can’t recommend it more. I’m grateful Lloydminster has this beautiful facility in our community.

The staff at the Dr Hemstock are nothing but AMAZING! They are very friendly, happy, helpful and caring towards the residents. They bend over backwards to take care of my mom, Jean. She loves the staff and says they spoil her with good food. During this Covid lockdown they are covering for all of us who cannot visit family members. My mom did her first ever FaceTime with me this morning thanks to Shannon who set it all up. This is not an easy time but they are keeping the residents healthy and happy.
