Respite Care

I recently stayed here in respite care following a hip replacement. I was here for three full weeks and will unconditionally recommend staying here to anyone. Even though I was in temporary respite I was afforded all the respect and amenities of a full time resident.... I was very impressed with the variety of meals and the regularity of fresh fruit and salads...I was able to experience the coconut and banana (yes real bananas) cream pies.

What a wonderful caring and sharing bunch of people. You made me feel very welcome.

I arrived straight from the hospital and on Friday instead of Monday. Yet Cydney and Tammy greeted me. Cydney was my contact to come there and Tammy is the PSW.

For the first week I needed tray delivery for my meals. What a luxury and everyone who delivered or inquired as to my preferences were pleasant and helpful. Ultimately I went to the dining room and the dining room staff were amazingly upbeat and interactive.

Walking to the dining room and down the safely carpeted, well lit corridors contributed greatly to my recovery. Friendly residents are out and about at all times so you never need to worry should you feel faint or take a tumble. PLUS I must mention that on arrival you are outfitted with an emergency call bracelet.
